The New York-based Amlon Group has acquired Music City Group, a Nashville, Tennessee-based waste management services company specializing in handling hazardous and nonhazardous byproducts, co-products and metal-bearing waste materials. The transaction closed in June.

“The acquisition and integration of Music City Group is bringing us even closer to realizing our vision of becoming a market leader and provider of environmental solutions to a variety of industries,” Amlon Group President Mark Wayne says.

“Music City’s unique high-touch services utilize personal attention and strategic methods to created high-value recurring revenue customers,” he adds, saying the acquired company’s strong track record in growth and environmental safety performance is unmatched.

The acquisition announcement follows another from about one week earlier concerning Baytown, Texas-based Paragon Southwest Medical Waste.

That transaction was announced by Colorado-based Strategic Environmental & Energy Resources Inc. (SEER), the firm that sold Paragon to Amlon Group.

Amlon Group has renamed the Paragon operations Baytown Medical Waste, or Amlon Baytown, and says Amlon Baytown is a medical waste processing company that provides an environmentally sustainable and economical solution that is superior to conventional incineration.

Regarding Amlon Baytown, Wayne says it “leverages an innovative, patented pyrolysis technology, which stands apart as an environmentally conscious alternative to traditional incineration methods. This thermal decomposition system offers superior eco-friendliness compared to incinerators.

"We are enthusiastic about offering customers a solution that not only addresses environmental concerns but also boasts sustainability and economic advantages over conventional incineration methods.”

With a business office in New York and operations in Texas and Louisiana, Amlon Group is a full-service company that “protects finite resources by remediating waste and recycling valuable commodities.”
