Diversys enters waste and recycling software arena

Toronto-based Diversys Software Inc. has launched its software as a service (SaaS) product for the waste management sector, calling it a platform “designed to address the critical pain points faced by waste management stewardships.”

The company, formed in 2019, says its slogan is “Powering a world without waste,” its software are set to "revolutionize the industry by offering unparalleled efficiency, compliance and sustainability.”

According to Diversys, waste collection and recyclables processing organizations face a mix of challenges that include stringent regulatory requirements, the complexities of data management and the pressing need for sustainable practices. The firm says its SaaS product is designed to meet such challenges while providing a user-friendly platform that integrates seamlessly into existing operations.

“Diversys  is committed to transforming the waste management industry by providing a solution that not only addresses the operational and regulatory challenges but also empowers organizations to achieve their sustainability goals,” Diversys CEO Roger Barlow says.

The Canadian company says its SaaS offering also boosts “stakeholder collaboration” since it “facilitates effective communication and collaboration among government agencies, waste management companies, in-field participants such as collectors, haulers, processors and remanufacturers, and other stakeholders.”
