Waste Pro has announced its exclusive service partnership with the University of Central Florida (UCF), for all campus solid waste and recycling services. According to the company, the partnership will ensure efficient waste management on the UCF campus while contributing to the university’s sustainability goals.
The Longwood, Florida-based waste management firm will also support the UCF Knights and The Kingdom NIL LLC, the official NIL of UCF Athletics, with a custom-wrapped front-end loader truck to be used while servicing the campus and other commercial customers throughout the Orlando metro area.
UCF, located in Orlando, Florida, is the largest university by enrollment in Florida and one of the largest universities in the nation. With over 69,000 students, UCF offers a wide range of programs that strongly emphasize research and innovation.
“Waste Pro is excited to unveil the new truck with custom branding. This might be the coolest truck graphics I have encountered during my years in the industry,” says Erik Sankey, regional vice president of Waste Pro. “It is a fun and unique way to utilize our moving billboards (collection trucks) to showcase community partnerships throughout our footprint.”
