Waste Pro USA Inc., headquartered in Longwood, Florida, has opened a new division in Jasper, Georgia. The company says the new location is about one hour north of Waste Pro’s Georgia headquarters in Atlanta.
According to a news release from Waste Pro, the company’s Jasper division will service 4,000 new commercial and residential customers in Georgia’s Pickens, Cobb, Gilmer, Cherokee and Forsyth counties.
“We’ve hit the ground running here in north Georgia, and we’re so excited for the growth that is still ahead,” says Jerry Harrison, Waste Pro’s Jasper divisional vice president. “We work here, we live here and we’re a part of this community. That’s why it’s so important we not only provide excellent service but to also get involved to support our local schools and businesses—caring for our communities is what Waste Pro is all about.”
Waste Pro hosted a ribbon-cutting event for the new location Dec. 14, where Georgia State Patrol and local first responders attended and joined the company for lunch.
