Vocational Trucks and Equipment (VTE) has announced a series of leadership appointments to support the company’s growth.
Scott Dols, Matt McLeish and Robby DeHart have been named chairman of the board of directors, CEO and chief commercial officer (CCO), respectively.
Dols brings more than three decades in the environmental services sector to VTE, and the company says he has played a key role throughout his career in shaping and supporting the waste industry through business leadership and service to national organizations.
“With more than 200 employees and a presence in nearly 20 states, VTE has entered an exciting new chapter,” Dols says. “This team is more than ready to lead the way, and I couldn’t be more confident in their ability to build on our momentum and take the company to even greater heights.”

McLeish previously served as chief operating officer at Tampa, Florida-based Trucks & Parts and most recently as president of VTE. Both McLeish and DeHart will join the VTE Board of Directors.
DeHart previously served as CEO of VTE and will be stepping into a new role with the company as CCO where he will be responsible for business development, marketing and strategic growth initiatives. Prior to this, DeHart also served as president of Tampa Crane & Body.

VTE says the leadership changes are part of a long-planned transition that reflects its investment in operations, organic growth and strategic acquisitions across the U.S.
“I’m honored to step into this role and lead a company that is so deeply committed to its people, partners and performance,” McLeish says. “We’re just getting started, and I look forward to helping accelerate our growth and expand the exceptional service our customers have come to expect.”
