Viably LLC, the Colorado-based North American master distributor of Komptech equipment, has introduced the Komptech Lacero model horizontal grinder.
“This high-speed wood waste grinding machine is a significant addition” to its product line, Viably says, noting the Lacero has been engineered to address the stringent requirements of the North American waste and recycling industry and organics recycling sector.
The Lacero is suitable for scrap wood recyclers, mulch producers, logging, land clearing and organics recycling applications. “It is a robust machine that is precision engineered and boasts a 41-inch diameter downswing drum powered by a Caterpillar C18 diesel engine and PT Tech clutch, providing up to 812 horsepower,” Viably says.
The tracked machine is available with an optional three-axle dolly system that Viably says allows for seamless on-road transport, making it flexible and functional.
The Lacero’s control system provides real-time diagnostics and a wireless remote control with what Viably calls a comprehensive machine status display for efficient use. The large feed hopper and Smart Grind program control have been designed to “assure continuous and efficient material feed,” adds the company.
“The Viably team takes pride in being at the vanguard of delivering innovation to North America waste recyclers, and the Komptech Lacero stands testament to our aspirations,” says Brandon Lapsys, president of Viably.
“Working with the Komptech factory engineers to craft this machine reflects our commitment to excellence and our insights into the real-world needs of our clients on this continent. The Lacero is not just a product; it’s a pivotal tool reshaping the waste processing landscape.”
Viably, formerly known as Komptech Americas, distributes Komptech equipment and Harp Renewables biodigesters and is the exclusive United States distributor of Scott Equipment Co.’s food waste depackaging and drywall recycling systems.
