Derrick Masimer will lead as director of sales for Toter’s Eastern division and Stephanie McAllister has joined as regional sales manager for the Southeast, Bahamas and Caribbean regions. Both roles will be tasked with growing sales in Toter’s residential channel, specifically with municipalities and private waste haulers, according to the company.

“We’re delighted to welcome Derrick and Stephanie into the Toter family,” says Jim Pickett, vice president of sales for Toter. “They will be instrumental in growing our residential and hauler business, and will have critically important roles in driving Toter’s long-term growth strategy. Adding Derrick and Stephanie to the team further ensures we have the best people in place to serve our customers.”

As director of sales, Masimer will support Toter’s four regional sales team members in the Eastern division. He began his career in 2007 with Wastequip, the Charlotte, North Carolina-based parent company of Toter, and a recycling and waste equipment manufacturer. Masimer has held numerous positions during his time at Wastequip, including serving as director of dealer sales and customer support for the company’s compactors business; and director of sales for the technical products division, where he was responsible for sales of Wastequip compactors and balers. Prior to Wastequip, Masimer served as regional sales manager for Marathon Equipment Co., as well as territory manager for both Waste Management and Allied Waste Industries. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.

McAllister joined Toter in June 2015 as a regional sales associate. In her new role as regional sales manager, she will focus on growing Toter’s residential carts business. McAllister’s responsibility for Toter’s Southeast region includes Florida, the Bahamas and the Caribbean. Her professional experience prior to joining Toter includes management of donor relations and fundraising activities for the University of Utah Athletic Department. She is a graduate of the University of Utah, and was a five-time NCAA Gymnastics All-American and four-year starter with the University of Utah women's gymnastics team.
