The Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio (SWACO), which serves several communities near Columbus, Ohio, is accepting sealed bids from qualified bidders for a landfill expansion project.
The Phase H8 Cell Construction project at the Franklin County Sanitary Landfill generally consists of constructing Phase H8, which includes an approximate 23-acre cell, a 3.5-acre separatory liner and all appurtenances or additional aspects.
SWACO estimates the duration of the project to be 2.5 years, per project milestones.
A mandatory in-person prebid meeting is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Oct. 30. Site visits are optional and must be completed prior to Nov. 13, SWACO says.
Sealed bids are due and must be received by SWACO no later than 1:30 p.m. Nov. 20.
