The CanMaster eddy current separator from Steinert, Walton, Kentucky, is specifically designed to separate aluminum beverage containers. The CanMaster can be integrated or retrofitted into existing recycling process.
The system is designed with several features, including an eccentric pole system, high sorting accuracy, durability, easy maintenance and an integrated control unit.
Recycling aluminum has become a lucrative business because of limited resources worldwide and the rising price of raw materials, the company says. The CanMaster is designed to ensure high yield, clean output and efficient separation of aluminum cans.
CanMaster’s eccentric pole system is designed to stop residual ferrous metals from adhering to the head drum. Steinert says the system experiences less wear and tear on the belt and drum shell.
The CanMaster is among the Steinert master series that encompasses a range of Steinert sorting technology products for application-specific functions.
Steinert is a manufacturer of magnetic and eddy current separator equipment. The company will appear at WasteExpo 2018 in Las Vegas April 24-26 at Booth No. 2443.
