Stadler appoints manager for UK project

Stadler UK, a Bristol, U.K.-based supplier of sorting and treatment plants for the waste management industry, has announced the appointment of David Cain as project manager for the Milton Keynes Waste Recovery Park project.

The Milton Keynes Waste Recovery Park project involves the local waste authority integrating three separate waste management systems on a single operating site, with the mechanical treatment (MT) element designed by Stadler UK. An article on the facility appeared in the January/February 2015 issue of Renewable Energy from Waste magazine.

Cain has been appointed as project manager to help ensure the smooth coordination of the design and installation of the MT plant, working along with the designers of the anaerobic digestion (AD) and advanced thermal treatment (ATT) plants to deliver the project to the client, Milton Keynes Council.

Cain is described by Stadler UK as “a qualified engineer” who has experience in waste management, having previously worked with EcoPlastics,
