Huntersville, North Carolina-based Rubbermaid Commercial Products (RCP) has introduced two new material handling products in its Brute line of collection carts, designed for rugged applications including waste and recycling collection.
The new Rotomolded Tilt Truck and Heavy-Duty Ergonomic Utility Cart also are part of RCP's new “Brute Can Handle It” campaign, which has been designed to “celebrate RCP’s legacy of durable products."
RCP says its Brute product line is designed with high-quality materials and lists factories and distribution facilities, where old corrugated containers (OCC) and plastic films are frequently generated, as users of Brute containers. All Brute products also are backed by a 10-year limited warranty.
“While customers can count on the new line of Brute products for superior quality, toughness and ease of use, RCP knows it’s the people using the product who are ultimately the ones to get the job done,” says Robert Posthauer, senior vice president with Rubbermaid.
“With labor costs continuing to be a challenge, workers need products that help make getting the job done easier. When it comes to the toughest jobs, Brute is there. We are proud to have built such strong confidence among our customers, who can trust that ‘Brute Can Handle It,’ even in the most high-pressure circumstances.”
The new RCP Rotomolded Tilt Truck is equipped with a DuraTilt frame design to allow it to stay stable while in the titled position, making the dumping and cleaning process easier, according to RCP, which says the Brute Rotomolded Tilt Truck has the strength to handle loads up to 2,100 pounds “with ease."
The Brute Heavy-Duty Ergonomic Utility Cart can handle loads up to 750 pounds of storage weight capacity and features locking casters to keep the cart in place and stable when loading and unloading, according to RCP.
Additional new Brute products include the 32G and 44G Wheeled Brute trash cans, which use DuraTread “never flat” wheels designed to allow users to move loads more easily even across rough and uneven terrain.
As part of Brute Can Handle It campaign, RCP is launching the #BRUTECanHandleIt Challenge on Instagram. RCP customers can enter the challenge by sharing a story of a time when a Brute product helped get the job done. One winner will be selected monthly from July through October.
