Peoria, Illinois-based MH Equipment, which operates material handling equipment dealerships covering 10 Midwestern and Mid-Atlantic states, has been awarded a 2024 Most Valuable Partner Award by the Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA).
The award was earned in recognition of its “outstanding achievements in 2024,” and this latest award marks the 12th consecutive year MH Equipment has earned the honor from the Wauconda, Illinois-based MHEDA.
“We extend our congratulations to all the recipients of MHEDA’s MVP award,” says Woody Hartwell, president of sales and marketing at MH Equipment. “MHEDA is an outstanding organization, and receiving this honor is truly meaningful.

For dealers qualify for the annual MVP Award they must provide evidence of their commitment to their partners in business, including their customers, employees and suppliers.

MH Equipment, founded in 1952 as a single forklift dealership, now has more than 30 locations and more than 1,100 employees serving customers in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Nebraska, South Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. It sells and services Hyster, Yale and Combilift forklifts and specialty equipment made by other brands.
