RELATED: A facility for the future
Brad Goins, Machinex project director/sales engineer, says, “We will be providing best-in-class technology that will efficiently sort all recyclable materials, including papers, cardboard, HDPE [high-density polyethylene], PET [polyethylene terephthalate], PP [polypropylene] and mixed plastics from local residential and commercial curbside collection. Rumpke really did consider their future growth and how Machinex has the ability to provide technology that will meet those future needs and keep them a recycling leader in the U.S.”
At the groundbreaking celebration for the MRF in February 2023, Rumpke’s Area President Andrew Rumpke said, “Rumpke selected Machinex Technologies, an international leader in recycling technology, and they’re going to equip our new facility as the most technologically advanced recycling center. We are going to have 60 jobs and our advanced facility is going to have state-of-the-art artificial intelligence technology, optical scanners, and ballistic separators. Many thanks to the Machinex team for our ongoing partnership with us."
The immersive virtual tour will be available at the Machinex booth No. 2307 during Waste Expo. Virtual tours can be booked at Machinex Virtual Tour - WasteExpo 2024.
