The website NJ.com is reporting that a large fire broke out the evening of Feb. 20 at Sakoutis Brothers Disposal in South Plainfield, New Jersey.
The three alarm fire took about five hours to extinguish. According to the report, large piles of trash caught fire at the site around 7:45 p.m. No one was in the building at the time.
Sixty-five firefighters from several fire departments brought the fire under control around 1 a.m. One firefighter was reportedly treated at the scene for a minor injury.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
