Eagle Crusher’s Jay Giltz inducted into C&D Hall of Fame

Jay Giltz, senior sales representative at Galion, Ohio-based Eagle Crusher Co. Inc., was inducted into the Construction & Demolition Recycling Hall of Fame at an awards ceremony held March 11 at C&D World 2019. C&D World is the Construction & Demolition Recycling Association’s (CDRA’s) annual convention, which was held March 9-12 in New York City.

The Construction & Demolition Hall of Fame honors prominent leaders who have made extraordinary contributions in the C&D recycling industry, including those who promote and defend environmentally sound recycling of C&D material through innovative processes, encourage and support others to build careers in the industry, and advocate environmentally sound practices with the regulating agencies and legislative bodies that govern waste and regulations.

“Jay has worked for the past 20 years, along with Eagle Crusher management, to help position Eagle Crusher as the leading supplier of crushers to the recycling industry,” Eagle Crusher Co. President Susanne Cobey says. “Jay has directed sales in the area of C&D and worked diligently to engineer crushing systems that efficiently rise to the industry’s challenges.”

Giltz has served on the CDRA board of directors to provide guidance on how to best serve the aggregate recycling industry and is only the second vendor to be inducted into the C&D Hall of Fame in the 5 years that CDRA has given the award. Inductees may come from the industry as an owner, operator or vendor.

“Giltz has probably sold more crushing systems for the recycling of aggregates than any other single person,” Greg Spina, vice president sales and marketing for Eagle Crusher Co., says.

“This year’s group of CDRA award winners exemplifies the best in C&D recycling. The industry is better off thanks to their efforts,” Troy Lautenbach, president of Mount Vernon, Washington-based Lautenbach Recycling and past president of the CDRA, says.
