Impact Environmental Group (IEG), Elgin, Illinois, has acquired the Compactor Solutions division of FleetGenius LLC. This business provides nationwide compactor and baler services to waste equipment manufacturers, waste haulers, compactor rental companies, retail chains, multifamily residential and multisite commercial facilities.
Compactor Solutions will be rolled up into the existing IEG Service business complementing an already thriving service organization.
The company says the addition of FleetGenius’ Compactor Solutions division gives IEG “unprecedented” national coverage to provide customers with site surveys, installations, preventative maintenance, emergency repair and refurbishment. Included in the acquisition are five repair and refurbishment locations in Arizona, Illinois, Texas, Washington and Wisconsin.

FleetGenius is a full-service compactor and container solutions company. Products manufactured include steel front load containers, roll-off containers, industrial containers, hoppers, trailers, recycling containers and a full line of compactors and receivers. Services include repair, refurbishment, deployment, rebranding, inventory management and end-of-life container recycling of commercial and residential waste containers.
