Heritage Environmental Services, an Indianapolis-based industrial waste services provider, has rebranded as Arcwood Environmental.
The company says its new name embodies a forward-looking vision while preserving its commitment to sustainability, innovation and trusted partnerships. This rebrand follows the company's acquisition by EQT Infrastructure in January 2024.
“Our new brand, Arcwood Environmental, reflects our commitment to growth, innovation and creating lasting value for our customers, propelling our industry towards a cleaner, brighter future,” Arcwood Environmental CEO HP Nanda says. “Our improvements, enhancements and investments are driven by our customers’ needs.”

Arcwood Environmental’s partnerships span sectors including pharmaceuticals, life sciences, oil and gas, advanced manufacturing, chemicals and metals.
“In every industry, waste is a natural byproduct of progress,” Arcwood Environmental President Ernie Walker says. “The question isn't whether waste exists—it always will—but how we choose to manage it. At Arcwood Environmental, we lead by example, demonstrating that responsible waste management is good for the planet and good for business.”

“As Arcwood, we’re growing and evolving,” Arcwood Environmental Chief Commercial Officer Chris Ebling says. “By optimizing our sales approach, expanding into high-growth industries and deepening existing customer relationships, we are creating new opportunities for our team and delivering greater value to our partners.”
The company says its rebrand to Arcwood Environmental includes expanded service capabilities, highlighted by the ramp-up of its Orange, Texas, incinerator, which will enhance Arcwood’s ability to process hazardous materials. Arcwood also has integrated its Joplin, Missouri, facility, which specializes in demilitarization and energetic waste disposal.
“Our name may have changed, but our mission has not,” Nanda says. “Arcwood Environmental is scaling up, innovating and leading the way in sustainable industrial waste management. Together, we’re clearing the path for a cleaner, safer future.”
