Heritage Environmental Services (HES), an Indianapolis-based industrial waste services provider, has announced HP Nanda will join the company as CEO. Current CEO Jeff Laborsky will transition to the company’s board of directors, effective April 1.
Nanda joins HES from Grundfos Water Utility, Brookshire, Texas, where he is currently CEO. Previously, he served as global vice president and general manager of the Wilmington, Delaware-based DuPont Water Solutions business.
“HES is at a pivotal growth moment in our company's history, and HP brings a unique blend of experience and innovative leadership style that will guide us forward as we enter this next chapter of progress,” Laborsky says. “He shares our passion for protecting human health and the environment, and his expertise will be invaluable to the team. I look forward to partnering with him as I continue to serve the company on the board of directors.”
As previously reported by Waste Today, EQT Infrastructure VI assumed a majority position of HES in January. Under its new structure, the company will remain a stand-alone platform led by its existing management team with the addition of Nanda as CEO.
“I truly look forward [to] joining the team at HES and admire their purposeful mission rooted in sustainability,” Nanda says. “I’m honored to build upon this legacy of stewardship as we become an even stronger industrial partner and environmental advocate.”
