Brantley County, Georgia, has announced it will not be extending its curbside waste collection contract with Republic Services, Action News JAX reports.
The Brantley County Board of Commissioners is accepting bids for the county’s residential curbside solid waste collection services and transfer station collection and hauling in a new request for proposal (RFP) process.

The county’s contract with Republic Services, Pheonix, will expire on May 1, 2025.
RFP submissions are due by Feb. 28 at 4:30 p.m.
