Fornnax Technology, an India-based manufacturer of recycling equipment, has received a Green Innovation of the Year award for its SR-MAX2500 Primary Shredder at the 8th Indian Cement Review Awards 2024-2025.
Designed for use in waste processing and resource recovery within the cement industry and for waste-to-energy (WTE) businesses, the SR-MAX2500 can handle heterogeneous and unorganized waste streams with precision and efficiency, Fornnax says.
The shredder can handle municipal solid waste (MSW), industrial and commercial waste, construction and demolition debris, wood waste and more, helping cement industries and WTE businesses to reduce their dependence on traditional fossil fuels such as coal and achieve their sustainability goals, the company says.
“This award reflects our unwavering commitment to innovation and sustainability,” says Jignesh Kundaria, director and CEO of Fornnax Technology. “The cement sector has long been a significant contributor to global CO2 emissions, and at Fornnax, we are dedicated to engineering solutions that combat these challenges through AFR and RDF systems. The SR-MAX2500 exemplifies our vision of creating a greener, cleaner future.”
According to Fornnax, the SR-MAX2500 delivers quantifiable benefits such as enhanced efficiency, reduced downtime and maximized profitability.
“At Fornnax, our vision is to lead the recycling industry with state-of-the-art, sustainable solutions by 2030,” Kundaria says. “This award is a testament to our team’s relentless efforts and commitment to making a positive environmental impact. We look forward to expanding our global presence, forging strategic partnerships and continuing to deliver cutting-edge technologies that inspire change.”
