Salt Lake City-based EnviroServe Inc. has acquired CG Environmental – The Cleaning Guys of Fort Worth, Texas, a company that provides environmental remediation, emergency response and waste management services in Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Missouri and adjoining states.
The transaction was announced by Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. (BGL), the Cleveland-based investment bank and financial advisory firm that focuses on mid-market sized companies, including in the waste and recycling service sectors.
The addition of CG Environmental’s seven locations increases EnviroServe's reach to 45 operations located throughout the United States.
CG Environmental was purchased by EnviroServe from Silver Peak Partners, Midwest Mezzanine Funds and Eagle Capital Partners.
EnviroServe itself is a portfolio company of New York-based One Rock Capital Partners LLC. BGL's Environmental Services and Industrial & Infrastructure Services investment banking teams advised CG Environmental in the transaction, the terms of which have not been disclosed by BGL.
BGL describes CG Environmental as having “a strong reputation for high-quality, reliable service and for solving its customers' toughest environmental challenges.”
Within CG Environmental’s service portfolio are its “Annihilator” solutions, which BGL says enable customers to “clean up spills more efficiently on pavements than traditional solutions.” The company also provides petroleum sector-related services and railcar cleaning.
EnviroServe will tuck CG Environmental into its service menu that includes end-to-end solutions for special waste, universal waste, biological waste and most hazardous and nonhazardous materials.
According to the investment bank, the addition of CG Environmental provides a complementary geographic footprint to EnviroServe, extending EnviroServe's geographic presence into Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin in Texas, and into Carthage, Missouri, and Tulsa, Oklahoma.
