Suwanee, Georgia-based Develon will display its DL280-7 wheel loader at Waste Expo in New Orleans in early May.
The equipment company says its DL280-7 loader offers durability and maneuverability for loading and carrying construction materials, transporting scrap or working at agricultural facilities. Durability features include optional stronger axles, increased lift capacities, wider radiator fin spacing and a standard reversible fan to clear dirt, dust and other large debris to reduce clogging, according to Develon.
The new model also features what Develon calls a roomier, more comfortable cab and has relocated controls for more intuitive use. An upgraded heating and air conditioning system is designed to keep wheel loader operators comfortable, the company adds, while its Smart Guidance System provides tips for operators to achieve more efficient machine use.
On the safety front, Develon says the increased glass area of the DL280-7, including a full-glass door, plus larger mirrors and optional LED work lights offer all-around visibility. Additionally, a Transparent Bucket option provides a supplemental visual perspective by allowing operators to see through the bucket from an in-cab display.
The DL280-7 wheel loader will be on display at Booth 2512 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans May 2-4.
