Longwood, Florida-based Waste Pro USA Inc. has promoted company veteran Rick Chancey to division vice president of the company’s Pensacola, Florida-based Coastal Region.
Chancey, who previously served as division manager of Waste Pro’s Milton Division, now will oversee operations in Milton, Tallahassee and Crestview, Florida, totaling more than 220,000 customers.
“I am looking forward to expanding my role at Waste Pro and continuing to work with some of the best in the business,” Chancey says. “I have a great team of ‘Waste Pros’ in the Coastal Region, and together we will continue to grow steadily and strategically while focusing on providing our customers with the high level of service they know and trust from the Waste Pro family.”
Chancey’s 30-plus-year career in solid waste began in 1990 when he started as a residential collection route truck driver. He has been a longtime Waste Pro employee serving in division manager roles in Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
Waste Pro is a privately owned waste collection, recycling, processing and disposal companies, operating in 10 Southeastern states. The firm projects its revenue to exceed $1.1 billion this year as it serves more than 2 million residential and 100,000 commercial customers from more than 90 operating locations.
