Cards Holdings LLC of Fayetteville, Arkansas, has made its fourth acquisition of 2024 with the purchase of R&L Haul Away, a waste service provider headquartered in Westminster, Texas. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

R&L Haul Away provides residential and commercial waste services to 644 customers in north Texas focusing on reliability and customer satisfaction, according to a news release from Cards about the transaction.

The purchase expands Cards’ presence in Texas and delivers more sustainable waste management solutions to the region. By integrating R&L Haul Away into its operations, the company says it aims to enhance its service offerings and provide unparalleled waste management services to communities across north Texas.

Cards intends to incorporate R&L Haul Away's eight acquired vehicles into its fleet and equip them with global positioning systems (GPS) to modernize the waste collection experience.

“This deal marks another major leap forward in Cards’ efforts to expand our service presence in Texas, enabling us to rapidly extend our reach and offer unparalleled waste collection to a broader customer base," Cards CEO Dan Christensen says.

Earlier this year, Cards purchased Missouri-based Oregon County Public Waste (OCPW), marking the company’s third acquisition in that state in 30 days after acquiring C&R Disposal Inc. and Pedersen Trash Service LLC, which it announced in January.

Established in 2017 as Central Arkansas Recycling and Disposal Services, Cards operates across Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Oklahoma and Texas, serving more than 45 municipalities and operating a network of transfer stations and a dedicated C&D landfill in addition to developing a material recovery facility.
