Capital Waste Services LLC, based in Columbia, South Carolina, has announced the acquisition of Tennessee Waste Haulers LLC, a Chattanooga, Tennessee-based roll-off waste collection and landfill services provider.
The company’s postcollection assets include a construction and demolition landfill in Harrison, Tennessee, as well as a permitted but undeveloped transfer station adjacent to its existing hauling facility in Chattanooga.
“Tennessee Waste Haulers’ network of roll-off hauling routes and landfill operations are highly complementary to our existing operations within the southeast region of Tennessee. We are excited to further expand our presence within this high-growth region and look forward to welcoming new, talented employees to our growing team within the market,” says Matt Parker, CEO of Capital Waste. “As we head into the new year, our M&A [mergers and acquisitions] strategy remains unchanged. We will continue to be aggressive in identifying unique solid waste assets across the southeast to integrate within our operations and grow our service footprint.”
Capital Waste formerly was a portfolio company of private investment firm Kinderhook Industries LLC, New York. Last November it was acquired by Vaughan, Ontario, Canada-based GFL Environmental.
