Cleveland-based Brown Gibbons Lang & Co. (BGL) has announced the recapitalization of Fort Worth, Texas-based TAS Environmental Services (TAS) by Blue Point Capital Partners IV. BGL’s environmental and industrial services team served as the exclusive financial advisor to TAS in the transaction. The specific terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
TAS is a leading environmental and industrial services provider operating across 13 locations in Texas, Louisiana and Arkansas, according to the news release. TAS offers comprehensive support services, including industrial cleaning, waste transportation and disposal, emergency response, tank cleaning, box rental, pipeline maintenance and remediation, among other specialty services. TAS' service reach extends throughout the Midwest and Southwest; however, its pipeline services and special projects are available coast to coast.
Blue Point says it will “leverage its prior experience with multi-branch industrial and environmental services providers and value-added resources to help optimize the team’s strong track record through strategic acquisitions and data enhancements.”
TAS is also interested in pursuing add-on opportunities that will expand its service offering portfolio and geographic reach, according to Blue Point.
