Big Truck Rental LLC, Tampa, Florida, has announced that Scott Smith will be taking on the role of director of municipal sales. Smith will be responsible for the strategy and execution of fleet management plans to support the needs of the municipal sector for the United States and Canada.
“I am grateful for the opportunity to join the Big Truck Rental sales team and lead our sales efforts to the municipal sector. Over my 10 years working in the industry, I have had the pleasure of working with many municipalities and I look forward to continuing to develop relationships, provide solutions and grow our business in this market,” Smith says.
Smith is an industry veteran with more than 10 years of experience working with Otto Environmental Systems, Charlotte, North Carolina. He spent the last 7 years as the director of sales for Otto, where he was responsible for the sale of curbside containers and container management for half of the United States.
