The Tampa, Florida-based Big Truck Rental, LLC has announced that Jason Bailey will be taking on the role of director of Route-Ready Sales. Route-Ready Sales is the division of Big Truck Rental (BTR) responsible for the marketing and sales of its premium off-rent refuse trucks. Jason will be responsible for the strategy and execution of the pre-owned vehicle sales program for both the U.S. and Canada.
“It’s an absolute honor to be a part of the Big Truck family. Within seconds of meeting with the senior leadership team, I knew something exciting was about to happen here, and I wanted to be a part of it” says Bailey. When asked about the vision and expectations for his new role, Bailey replied, “From day one, I’ve been equally challenged and energized by the opportunity to develop an innovative & sustainable approach to the used truck-buying process within the waste hauling market. Our industry-exclusive Route-Ready Sales initiative was designed to effectively combine on-demand asset availability with high quality multi-tier reconditioning options. Nobody in the industry has done anything like this, and we’ve done it in a way that will redefine how people view and ultimately purchase pre-owned waste collection equipment.
“The extensive expertise and reputation of the entire BTR team is standing behind this Route Ready program, each one of us more than prepared to support the needs of our customers and eager to watch this thing grow,” Bailey continued.
Baily is a heavy equipment and waste industry veteran with more than 13 years of experience working with Waste Management, CNH Industrial and Volvo Construction Equipment. Jason spent the last four years as a major construction accounts manager and sales representative for Waste Management, where he was responsible for the sale of construction and industrial waste services for the South Atlantic region. He is a business school graduate from Wofford College and currently resides in Tampa.
“Many people know Big Truck Rental as the industry leader in renting refuse vehicles, but our business model also gives us the unique opportunity to be a leader in selling late model refuse vehicles after coming off rent in less than two years. We needed a talented individual who could establish market leadership by creating an industry leading reconditioning program and then have the business development experience to lead the sales efforts and Jason’s background and skill set are a great fit to do both things at a high level. In fact, in his short tenure with the team, he has created an industry-unique reconditioning program and just recently launched the program to the market. Jason’s passion and energy for the industry makes him a great addition to the Big Truck Rental team that will serve our customers well.” says Zach Martin, the vice president of sales for BTR North America.
“Jason’s experience and knowledge provided us with the ability to quickly establish a difference making pre-owned vehicle sales program that will serve the industry well in an underserved market. We are excited to have him on board,” adds Scott Dols, the founder and CEO of BTR.
