Bestige Holdings LLC, a Park City, Utah, private equity firm, has invested $15 million to bring together three waste management businesses – Compactor Rentals of America, Action Compaction Services and Computerized Waste Systems – to form National Waste Partners, a provider of compactor and baler rentals, repair and waste coordination services.
National Waste Partners, through its various subsidiaries, will provide compactor and baler rentals, repair and waste coordination services to more than 500 customers operating in about 10 industries across 37 states.
Bestige Holdings backed a management buy-out of the three companies, including Computerized Waste Systems (CWS) from Wastebuilt Environmental Solutions LLC. The three businesses will now operate as subsidiaries of National Waste Partners. Additional proceeds have been committed to support the companies’ various growth initiatives.
National Waste Partners will be led by Brian Gibson as CEO and Jerome Vinagro as president and founder. Combined, the two men have 50 years in the waste management industry. “We are excited to be partnering with the Bestige team,” says Gibson. “This is a great opportunity for our employees, vendors and customers alike as we combine forces to expand our reach and offerings, while maintaining our world class service levels.”
“Brian and Jerome are entrepreneurs at heart. Each of these divisions have prospered because of their integrity, hard work, deep knowledge of the industry and an unsurpassed commitment to their customers,” says Shawn Hassel, co-founder of Bestige Holdings. “Long-term value creation requires authentic partnership with all stakeholders, and we look forward to working with Brian (Gibson) and Jerome (Vinagro) in this manner for years to come”.
Compactor Rentals of America, based in Phoenix, provides compactor and baler rentals to end-users including retailers, waste haulers and manufacturers across dozens of industries. Action Compaction Services, operating out of both Phoenix and Chicago, provides compactor and baler repair as well as overhaul and installation services across seven states in the Midwest and Southwestern regions. CWS is a Louisville, Kentucky-based business that operates as an outsourced refuse disposal and recycling department by organizing waste removal logistics, price negotiation, and bill consolidation for regional and national corporations.
