Vancouver-based wastewater treatment solutions provider Axine Water Technologies Inc. will showcase electraCLEAR, its on-site electrochemical oxidation technology, at the Northeast Waste Management Officials’ Association (NEWMOA) Science of PFAS Conference. The conference runs April 2-4 at the Best Western Royal Plaza Hotel & Trace Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
Axine President and CEO Mark Ralph and Vice President of Sales Louis LeBrun will represent the company at the conference, discussing the challenges associated with the destruction of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in wastewater. Additionally, LeBrun will present a session titled “Onsite Electrochemical Oxidation for the Destruction of Concentrated PFAS, Pharmaceuticals and Micropollutants Reduces the Cost, Complexity and Liability for Many Facilities.”
By leveraging advanced electrochemical processes, electraCLEAR destroys concentrated PFAS and other micropollutants, offering complete destruction of PFAS in wastewater, according to the company.
“We are eager to engage with attendees at the NEWMOA Conference and discuss the pressing challenges surrounding PFAS wastewater treatment,” LeBrun says. “Our team is committed to providing sustainable and efficient solutions that address these challenges head-on, helping industries achieve their environmental goals while improving operational efficiency.”
