AMCS, a Limerick, Ireland-based software provider, has launched its AMCS Platform Winter 2024 update.
This release marks the global debut of the AMCS Platform for Residential Services, alongside new features for circular economy automation, artificial intelligence- (AI-) driven advancements and additions to the AMCS Sustainability Intelligence Suite.
The update incorporates enhanced automation functionalities, facilitating scalable operations in alignment with sustainability and environmental, social and governance (ESG) targets, AMCS says.

The AMCS Platform for Residential Services aims to help private residential operators, cities and their service partners fully automate service delivery to residential customers, from dispatch and vehicle management to route optimization, customer service, digital self-service and billing.
This release also adds several circular economy automation capabilities including support for enhanced material trading, digital payments and compliance with emerging Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations. These new features provide insights into material quality and composition.
The AMCS Sustainability Intelligence Suite aims to provide customers with a solution to meet EHS and ESG needs. AMCS says this solution ensures compliance with many regulatory frameworks including the new CSRD disclosure requirements.
The Winter 2024 release extends AI-driven automation across the AMCS platform, enhancing both operational efficiency and sustainability outcomes, the company says. AI-powered features now include automated document reading, an AI assistant for climate disclosure reporting, route optimization, QR code scanning to identify customer assets and machine learning-based Scope 3 emissions estimation.
