AMCS Group, an Ireland-based supplier of integrated cloud-based software and vehicle technology for the waste and recycling industry, has launched its AMCS Platform Spring 2025 update.

AMCS provides solutions for transportation and logistics, recycling, safety and sustainability. According to AMCS, the Spring 2025 release focuses on advancing the circular economy, delivering sustainability through data and artificial intelligence (AI) and elevating residential services delivery.

“This Spring 2025 release demonstrates our continued drive to push the boundaries of performance sustainability,” says Elaine Treacy, global product director at AMCS. “The introduction of the evolved account model, advanced material trading and digital payment options and our enhanced AI-driven solutions empower businesses to transcend traditional automation constraints. This enables data-driven decision-making and provides insights that not only strengthen an organizations’ bottom line but also amplify its positive environmental impact.

“Moreover, we’re elevating residential services delivery with purpose-built automation, delivering better financial and sustainable outcomes for both public and private residential haulers, further ensuring our customers can achieve operational excellence while meeting their sustainability goals.”

The Spring 2025 release includes the launch of AMCS Pay in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. AMCS says it also includes an evolved account model, optimized weigh-to-pay metal recycling, improved recycling operations and smarter order fulfilment logistics.

The platform’s data-driven enhancements include new sustainability dashboards, a material trading dashboard, AI and machine learning enhancements and automated regulatory updates. Its residential services now include improved routing and service optimization, automated seasonal holiday service date adjustments, enhanced geographical service area management and optimized workforce management.

“The Spring 2025 update of the AMCS Platform marks a significant advancement in our AMCS safety [and] sustainability solutions,” says Florian Lichtwald, operating partner of environmental, social and governance (ESG) and environmental, health and safety (EHS) at AMCS.

“By deepening the integration of our EHS and ESG capabilities and further embedding these solutions in our core platform, we’re providing a comprehensive solution that addresses the evolving needs of businesses across multiple industries. Our enhanced AI-driven features for compliance reporting, video-based training and Scope 3 emissions estimation, coupled with new sustainability dashboards, empower organizations to make data-informed decisions that drive both environmental stewardship and operational excellence.”
