ACV Enviro, Avenel, New Jersey, announced Nov. 5 that Robert Belanger has been recently promoted to director of Lab Pack Services. In his new role, Belanger will lead the ACV Enviro team—including sales, project managers, chemists and technicians—by expanding ACV’s lab pack and on-site services nationwide, providing employee training and serving as the head of the program’s oversight.
“Robert brings the right mix of advanced technical skills and experience to the table,” Kevin Fitzgerald, vice president of sales at ACV Enviro, says. “His expertise in managing people, projects and chemicals found in academic, pharmaceutical and manufacturing labs, as well as hospitals and R&D operations supports our customers’ growing needs.”
Belanger joined ACV Enviro in April as the lab pack manager. He has worked in the environment, health and safety (EHS) field for over 20 years.
“We have a highly technical and professional team who has developed over the last few years, providing amazing service and support to our customers,” Belanger says. “Our growth is a reflection of their hard work and dedication. The motivation internally and the work ethic of our group makes it easy to be excited to step into the team lead role. I think I am most excited about working with such a talented team who understands our goals and objectives and how important each project is we do from a regulatory, disposal, non- and hazardous waste perspective to overall improved sustainability.”
“ACV Enviro is fortunate to have Robert leading the charge to this division,” Fitzgerald says. “We know he was the right pick to help our customers through the ever-changing environmental and EHS landscape shifts.”
