Shred-Tech, Cambridge, Ontario, has upgraded its MDS line of mobile shredding trucks. According to a news release from Shred-Tech, the company is offering its MDS-S models with the third generation of the ST-15H shredder.

The following are throughput levels for the new line of MDS-S mobile shredding trucks:

  • MDS-1S achieves 5,500 pounds per hour;
  • MDS-2S achieves 7,000 pounds per hour; and,
  • MDS-3S achieves 8,500 pounds per hour.

Also, the MDS-4 model achieves a throughput of about 12,000 pounds per hour.

The upgraded mobile shredding trucks all feature new hydraulic load-sensing technology and can achieve higher throughputs without added cost and weight. Shred-Tech says all MDS-S models are available on commercial driver's license (CDL) and non-CDL chassis with payloads of up to 14,000 pounds.
