Autocar’s DC-64D Dump Truck

With several Cummins engine options, excellent visibility and rugged cab and frame rail construction with 160,000 pounds per square inch (psi) yield strength, this dump truck would be well-suited for roll-off work. It’s also designed so maintenance can be performed easily on a variety of systems and with safety for the operator in mind. Some of its other features include:

Curbtender’s XL Electric Curbtender eQuantum

Developed by Curbtender, Cedar Falls, Iowa, in partnership with XL Fleet, Boston, the eQuantum, built on a Ford F-600 chassis, possesses all the power and strength of Curbtender’s small rear-loading refuse vehicle with reduced noise and emissions. Some of the eQuantum’s key features include:

  • an electric propulsion system with the battery pack mounted on top of the body to minimize the wheelbase, improving maneuverability
  • a suite of charging and power solutions provided by XL Fleet to support fleet electrification
  • a driving range of about 100 miles on a full charge
  • battery capacity of up to 150 kilowatt-hours with 2,000 pound-feet of torque and 290 horsepower

Recycleye Robotics line

Combining the artificial intelligence-powered computer vision system pioneered by Recycleye with robotics technology by Fanuc, a robotics company based in Japan, Recycleye Robotics can execute up to 55 successful picks per minute. The new robotics technology debuted at IFAT 2022 during the last week of May in Munich, Germany. Recycleye can:

  • sort materials such as polyethylene terephthalate (PET), high-density polyethylene (HDPE), polyethylene/polypropylene (PE/PP), aluminum and paper
  • negative sort items when necessary
  • pick up to 55 items per minute with a contamination rate of less than 1 percent
  • move its robotic arm along six axis points, enabling it to efficiently pick items
