  • 17 inches of diagonal articulation
  • capacities for applications that range from 40,000 pounds to 75,000 pounds
  • increased tire clearance over previous models to include packages with 315 tires and 9-inch steel wheels while still meeting SAE standards for chain clearance
  • an integrated jounce stop that provides overload protection to maximize the life of the load springs and bolster springs

Stadler PX Conveyer

The PX acceleration conveyor from German company Stadler combines the best features of the company’s BB and DB conveyors and is compact enough to transport to sites, if necessary. It is designed to meet demand for higher throughput in sensor-based automatic sorting. Other features of the company’s new conveyor include:

  • an air stabilizer for consistent sorting quality at a faster speed with light material, resulting in clean output
  • the same solid-frame construction that has led to the long product life of its predecessors
  • belt speeds ranging from 10.5 feet per second to nearly 15 feet per second using one of two motors, so the necessary torque is used at specific speeds
  • the choice of either a 5-inch or 8.5-inch head drum
