Shippensburg, Pennsylvania-based Volvo Construction Equipment says its two new midsize crawler excavator models offer fuel efficiency, increased productivity and enhanced safety. The EC260 and EC300 boast an optimized electro-hydraulic system, a smart cooling system and engine speed regulation that can contribute to up to 15 percent better fuel efficiency, Volvo CE says. Key features include:
- a lifting capacity of 19,840 pounds for the EC260 and 19,820 pounds for the EC300
- a maximum digging reach of 32 feet, 8 inches for the EC260 and 33 feet, 5 inches for the EC300
- enhanced machine access to facilitate inspections and fluid analysis

McNeilus Volterra ZFL
Billed as North America’s first fully integrated, electric front-loading commercial collection vehicle, the Volterra ZFL is a new zero-emission offering from Dodge Center, Minnesota-based McNeilus Truck and Manufacturing Inc. Designed to meet the rigorous demands of commercial waste and recycling operations, the truck is equipped with an electric powertrain with regenerative braking that McNeilus says eliminates exhaust emissions, controls noise pollution and delivers reliable all-day performance on a single charge. - a driver-first design with a consistent 15-inch step height and spacious, ergonomic cab
- an advanced driver assistance system equipped with blind-spot monitoring, 360-degree cameras, backup camera and lane departure warning

Pettibone telehandler
Designed for jobsite efficiency, Pettibone’s Extendo 1044X telehandler joins the material handling lineup from Baraga, Michigan-based Pettibone Traverse Lift LLC. The new model delivers a maximum load capacity of 10,000 pounds without the need for outriggers. Key features include:
- a forward reach of up to 30 feet and a maximum lift height of 44 feet, 6 inches
- a 74-horsepower diesel engine made by Germany-based Deutz AG
- a newly designed boom with formed boom plates for greater strength with less weight
