Stellar NXT40 Hooklift
Strong but lightweight, Garner, Iowa-based Stellar Industries’ NXT40 hooklift is the latest telescopic hooklift in the NXT Series. The 40,000-pound capacity hoist built for tandem axle chassis can load, unload and dump various truck bodies. Its features include:
- a Z-channel base design and universal body latching system
- a 54-to-61.75-inch hook height
- a low profile to accommodate down to 6-inch subframe heights
- a universal hydraulic reservoir

Chromasens allPIXA SWIR camera
Offering real-time, nondestructive inspection and sorting of mixed plastics, the new allPIXA SWIR (short-wave infrared) Line Scan camera and Corona II LED Illumination system were designed to improve productivity in the recycling process. Germany-based Chromasens says its camera can accurately identify and classify plastics based on their spectral properties and, combined with the Corona II LED lighting, can contribute to higher purity recycling outcomes. Its other features include:
- an InGaAs uncooled sensor capable of handling wavelengths from 950 to 1,700 nanometers
- a compact footprint for integration in plans where space is limited
- pixel sizes of 25 and 12.5 micrometers
- a line frequency of 40 kilohertz
