Operators no longer have to choose between a diesel or electric drive for the latest-generation SM 620.3 trommel screen from German equipment company Doppstadt Umwelttechnik GmbH. If no electrical power connection is available, diesel operation is available for the screen, which the company says provides the proven performance of previous models with innovative features for maximum efficiency. Key features include:
- a DualPower drive that offers a combination of both diesel and electric power, depending on application, for flexible and convenient operation
- a galvanized discharge belt designed to offer high resistance and protection against corrosion
- a newly designed stone grid that opens at greater than 90 degrees to quickly remove sticky material

Vogelsang CC-Mix

Offering a compact biogas production solution for mashing diverse organic feedstocks into homogeneous suspensions, the CC-Mix is a new biomass handling technology from Vogelsang USA, Ravenna, Ohio. Designed to simplify processing diverse feedstocks, the CC-Mix can handle renewable resources, flowable solid matter and slightly pasty materials, such as fruit and vegetable waste. Key features include:
- an integrated foreign matter separator to protect the unit from damage
- the ability to feed multiple digesters from a single unit
- robust mixing capabilities to create optimal conditions for bacteria in digesters

A new offering from Fleetio, Birmingham, Alabama, enables operators to automate routine maintenance tasks that keep fleet assets operating smoothly.
