Komptech Americas is now Viably

For more than a decade, Komptech Americas has been a leading name in the waste and recycling industry, but, as of August, the company decided to expand its product offerings under a new name: Viably.

“While the switch to Viably expands our ability to solve problems for clients, the things that are most important for our Komptech customers will remain unchanged,” says Viably President Brandon Lapsys, who has been with Komptech Americas since 2008. “Our leadership hasn’t changed, and all the dedicated and experienced people our customers count on are still here.”

When asked about its exclusive, long-standing relationship with Austria-based Komptech GmbH, Lapsys did not hesitate, saying, “For many years, our team has worked hand-in-hand with Komptech’s design and manufacturing teams. We’re very close partners. I assure you that everyone at Viably is very excited to continue as the master distributor of Komptech in North America. Lapsys says he is excited to announce three immediate benefits available to Viably’s Komptech customers, which currently make up more than 800 Komptech machines located across North America.

• Viably is expanding its product lineup to include 40-plus mobile and stationary Komptech machines—the most that have ever been offered in North America.
• Viably has added complete design and installation capabilities for stationary plant systems.
• Viably has invested in Komptech customer support, adding new trucks to its service fleet, hiring additional field service technicians and expanding its parts inventory and supply chain capabilities.
