It’s not often that equipment in our industry lasts considerably longer than what is considered standard, but New Way compactor and container brand K-PAC’s customers have come to expect just that. While bargain brands rely on foreign raw materials and componentry, all K-PAC equipment is entirely made in America using U.S.-graded steel. This adherence to quality without compromise has resulted in properly maintained units that some might consider obsolete still faithfully doing their jobs.
K-PAC manufacturing operations are strategically located in central Iowa with new facilities in Mississippi to minimize lead times and serve a growing customer base from coast to coast. K-PAC’s well-respected distributor network provides after-sales support and service throughout the United States.
K-PAC also offers a stocking program for customers needing equipment in a pinch. K-PAC’s stock inventory of large self-contained, front- and rear-load containers and apartment compactors is ready to deliver immediately.
Sister company New Way Trucks is well known for being the most customization-friendly refuse body manufacturer, and the same holds true for K-PAC’s product lineup.
Self-contained compactors
K-PAC’s self-contained compactor lineup features units with the largest clear-top chamber of any self-contained compactor in the industry, many exclusive features and options, high-tail designs ideal for dock and chute-fed applications and tall liquid retention heights that assure leakproof performance. In addition, K-PAC offers front- and rear-load units with low, 40-inch loading heights, automatically cycling packing panels and mushroom-stop safety features.
Using the same curved wall technology found in New Way Trucks, K-PAC compactors boast added strength, improved compaction, fewer air pockets, less potential for rust and leaks, as well as a lighter weight for more carrying capacity.
Stationary compactors
K-PAC’s stationary compactor lineup includes apartment compactors designed to do big jobs in small spaces, 2-cubic-yard “Stubby” units engineered to take up minimal space fitting snuggly against any structure, standard receiver boxes on compactors ideally equipped for solid waste and recyclables alike and a versatile compactor that works seamlessly with front-load, rear-load and roll-off systems that thrive in sites of any size.
Roll-offs
K-PAC heavy-duty rectangular and tub-style roll-offs are incredibly durable and come in a variety of configurations, including all standard rail with a main rail width of 36.25 inches, cable, hook-lift and dual lift. Twenty-, 30-, and 40-cubic-yard units are standard. Specialty 10- and 15-cubic-yard units are available by request.
Dumpsters
K-PAC rugged front- and rear-load dumpsters are built to last and are available for quick delivery.
- Front-load dumpsters come in slant-top and flat-top configurations and are available in 2-, 3-, 4-, 6- and 8-cubic-yard sizes.
- Rear-load dumpsters are available in 1.5-, 2-, and 4-cubic-yard sizes.
Together with New Way, K-PAC forms the largest private manufacturer of refuse equipment in North America. The McLaughlin family spans three generations of principled leadership. To learn more, visit kpac-wastecompaction.com or call 515.370.2388.
