One of Goodyear’s suite of tire management solutions is an on-board, active monitoring system called Goodyear® TPMS Plus. Sensors installed on the wheel or valve stem continuously transmit information back to you through the telematics box installed on the vehicle. Real-time alerts can be sent for identified temperature or pressure issues that require immediate attention. Goodyear’s proprietary algorithms and predictive analytics can also help identify potential issues so you can be proactive and avoid unexpected expenses.

The equipment options in the TPMS Plus offering are compatible with many existing technologies and our team will work with our customers and their existing technology on solutions to keep your fleet moving.

4. Do I have to use Goodyear tires to use Goodyear Tire Management solutions and get the benefits?

The short answer is no. Goodyear leverages a suite of tire-agnostic tools and technologies to capture important data from your fleet.

Goodyear TPMS Plus provides active tire monitoring for consistent updates from anywhere including valve stem or wheel-mounted sensors that can be installed on virtually any commercial vehicle, regardless of tire brand.

The Goodyear® Tire Optix digital toolset helps make the tire inspection process more efficient and accurate. You can monitor tire pressure, tread depth and mileage one vehicle at a time or efficiently complete an entire yard check before trucks go back on the road.

Goodyear® CheckPoint is an innovative, drive-over reader that is available in above-ground and in-ground systems and captures tread depth and tire pressure with patented PressureSense Technology™.

5. Will an effective tire management program require me to add more manpower to handle it?
